My latest Robinhood Chain Lighter trading update: $706K+ in cumulative volume, -$4.76 PnL, $353 in estimated fees saved, and my current HYPE position.

My Current Robinhood Chain Lighter Trading Stats

I’ve been spending quite a bit of time trading on Robinhood Chain Lighter lately.

What started as a small experiment has slowly turned into something I check and trade on almost every day.

Today I opened my portfolio and noticed that my total trading volume has reached $706,293.86.

That number looks huge at first, but obviously it doesn’t mean I’ve deposited $700K. It’s cumulative trading volume built up from repeatedly opening and closing positions with the same capital.

$700K in Volume, But I’m Still in the Red

The volume might look impressive. The PnL? Not so much. 😂

At the time of writing, my Lighter portfolio shows:

  • PnL: -$4.76
  • Return: -27.66%
  • Average Daily PnL: -$0.22
  • Trading Volume: $706,293.86

So this definitely isn’t one of those “I turned $10 into $10,000” trading stories.

For now, I’m mostly using a small amount of capital and learning how Robinhood Chain Lighter works through actual trading.

Some trades work. Some don’t. That’s part of the experiment.

Estimated Fees Saved: $353.14

One number I found particularly interesting is Estimated Fees Saved.

My portfolio currently shows $353.14 in estimated fees saved.

With total trading volume now above $700K, it’s interesting to see how much those small trading costs could have added up over time.

Current numbers:

  • Total Volume: $706,293.86
  • Estimated Fees Saved: $353.14

Seeing these numbers made me realize that I’ve been trading a lot more than I thought.

My Current HYPE Position

At the moment, I have one open position: HYPE at 20x leverage.

  • Size: 2.970
  • Position Value: $242.44
  • Entry Price: 81.548
  • Mark Price: 81.632
  • Liquidation Price: 79.812
  • Margin: $12.12
  • Unrealized PnL: +$0.24 (+2.06%)

That was simply the position shown when I took the screenshot, so those numbers can obviously change very quickly.

And yes, 20x leverage is extremely risky. The liquidation price is close to the current market price, so this isn’t something anyone should blindly copy.

Next Target: $1 Million in Trading Volume

I think I’ll keep documenting my Robinhood Chain Lighter activity from time to time.

Right now the scoreboard is pretty simple:

$706K+ volume and -$4.76 PnL.

Not exactly a legendary trading performance. 😂

But that’s also why I want to keep this journal. It’ll be interesting to look back later and see how the numbers changed.

My next milestone is $1 million in cumulative trading volume.

When I get there, I’ll check whether my PnL looks better… or somehow even worse.
